Some people cannot physically vacuum, mop, wash the bathrooms, or do the dusting. But others simply would rather spend their precious time doing something else.
How much do you charge?
Whether it’s a curious friend or a random phone call, I get asked this question a lot. However, my answer is usually, “It depends!” Every home is so different and we try to customize a plan for each home.
Typically you can expect to pay twice as much for the initial ‘first visit’. Most cleaning companies and solo cleaners either charge a flat rate for each cleaning after that, or a set hourly rate. My company charges flat rates when we do move in/ move out cleans or deep cleans which have an extensive work order list. We also will quote flat rates for weekly, every 2 weeks, or every 4 weeks maintenance visits (starting price is $150 for weekly, ex: 3 br 2 bath 1200 sq ft.) your weekly rate will be the lowest, followed by biweekly and monthly which costs extra because monthly visits take us longer to accomplish.

We start with screening references and background checking all applicants AND we drug test. We have a training program so all employees are taught safety, professional efficient cleaning methods, how to use all our products, and so forth. Each home is assigned one solo cleaner who will get to know you. All our employees are covered with a worker’s compensation insurance policy for our customers protection. You certainly get what you pay for when it comes to hiring any in home service professional.
